FUN FACTS. If you're new on my page, my name is Jennifer and I'm the face behind my camera. I have been shooting weddings and families for almost 7 years now! My oldest boy inspired me to take photos when he turned 1 and good old Pinterest came out. Am I showing my age? 🙊 I was inspired to shoot weddings after I made the mistake of having someone with a fancy camera take our wedding photos! If you ever talk to me, you'll know that that's a no, no! You can't repeat your day of wedding photos. But, thankfully my husband and I were able to do anniversary pictures a few years ago and I'm so thankful we did that! I love so many and have so many favorites from that shoot. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Some things about me: I love peanut butter, I love to sing in the car by myself, I am over 6ft tall- yep! I'm practically a giant, haha. My husband ordered a ring off of a guy online and he tried to cheat him out of a ring. Long story short, my first wedding ring ended up being FREE... But I accidentally threw away my wedding ring while cleaning. We were never able to find it and I was devastated! Thankfully, I got a new ring, but I was reminded of the truth that marriage isn't based on a wedding ring. :-)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Goodbye Monday!!

GOODBYE MONDAY // Life is short. Eat the cake! 😁 I had an awesome birthday this weekend, y'all. Meals and a massage is all that it takes for this mama. I cooked maybe once. 🙊 I don't know whether to be happy about that or embarassed to share that! To all the super creatives or people out there who got through Monday, eat some cake for my birthday! 🎉💕 If you have some cake this week, tag me! 🤣 Doesn't matter what kind it is. Let's realize that Mondays can be super hard and you're not the only one. Today I struggled with BALANCE. I got so much done today- emails, laundry, editing, workout, keeping my children alive and fed-- you know the basics. 😂 Don't even ask how LAST Monday went. I felt like I got nothing done last Monday. And that's real life. 🤦‍♀️ But my balance could have been WAY better today even though I felt slightly more productive.. Bloom

BLOOM. Sometimes, when we are growing our businesses, we have a season of growth that feels SO small and unimportant. But it's in those seasons that the most growth actually happens. I call this season our roots. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A few years ago, I only served a handful of photographers, and I wished for overnight success. But once I took my eyes off financial gains, my mindset switched into how could I serve others AND have the freedom I desired. EVERYTHING changed. It's not about   trying to serve the most popular photographers, financial gains, or having a status with others. It's about my family, my freedom, and serving my photographers. They aren't always in the spotlight--though I think they should be! They have hearts of gold and serve their customers well, and step it up a notch when they outsource. Why? So that they have more time for what's important to them, and to love on their clients even more with a faster turnaround. That's what it's all about ...
